Custom order limitations – smallest dimension >= 20.3cm; largest dimension <= 50.8cm; number of sheets >= 50. Limitations might be bypassed if one asks nicely enough.
The cutting process
Paper is cut by hand with a rotary trimmer, in my paranoid light safe darkroom, in full darkness (no safelight), and at night (just for the hell of it). Handling is minimal, and always with clean nitrile gloves. Depending on sheet size, I’m usually getting 0.5-1.5mm tolerance. (double cuts needed for smaller-than-roll-width sheets tend to have the larger tolerances).
Packing
Paper is packed in a brand-new Adox black PE lightsafe bag for darkroom paper. It’s then closed “double-folded” (first the top, then the side), and then fixed with tape, so it’s close to impossible to open it by mistake.
If shipping via Post, to comply with package limitation, the lightsafe bag is placed inside a “book mailer” (basically, a large cardboard envelope), which is further reinforced with cardboard. Only when shipping via courier service (usually DPD for select EU countries) it’s placed inside a proper cardboard box, which is again, reinforced with cardboard.
Shipping:
As of July of 2024, approximate shipping costs are:
– 17-20EUR via Post Office for a <2kg order (equating to approx. 50 sheets of 30.5×40.6cm) for MOST of the world
– inquire for current shipping costs via DPD for select EU countries; prices are quite good, it’s fast (7-10 days), and can be insured
Please check the received package for any damage before accepting delivery.
